Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

While imposing Green Belt rules preserves rural character, it may neglect urgent housing needs. A flexible approach allowing for eco-sensitive housing can benefit both community and environment.

Testun llawn:

It is admirable to maintain green spaces within our district, yet the unyielding nature of the Green Belt guidelines should not overshadow the community's pressing need for development. The current strategy may preserve rural character, but what will happen to the individuals and families who need homes? The absence of housing is quickly becoming an urgent concern that I feel must be tackled head-on. I would advocate for a forward-thinking approach where certain areas within the Green Belt are designated for environmentally sensitive housing options. This flexibility could allow us to maintain our green identity while accommodating growth - a win-win for all.
