Protecting the Green Belt is certainly commendable; however, crafting a rigid framework around this policy might trap the district in stagnation. The Example District has witnessed demographic shifts, and with this change comes the challenge of providing adequate housing. Certain areas of the Green Belt should be evaluated for their potential to accommodate sustainable developments that respect local heritage while serving the needs of residents. Environmental concerns and community welfare are not mutually exclusive, and with innovative planning, we can enhance both aspects. I firmly believe a reassessment of potential development zones within the Green Belt is necessary for the future.
