After reviewing the details of the new Publication Plan, it seems there has been a considerable omission of critical feedback channels for residents to express their concerns. The notion that this plan will proceed unexamined by vocal community members is quite alarming. If we are to trust this process, it's imperative that channels for ongoing engagement and feedback are clearly laid out. I would ask that planners not only allow but encourage continuous dialogue with communities. Without it, we run the risk of disenfranchising local voices, ultimately leading to a plan that does not reflect the needs, desires, or realities of those it is meant to serve.
