Having closely followed the development of the Local Plan, I feel compelled to express my discontent regarding the process undertaken thus far. While it is commendable that public consultation has been engaged, a vast segment of our community remains uninformed about the implications of this proposed plan. The consultation periods seemed rushed, and it appears that only select groups were adequately consulted while others, particularly those in smaller residential areas, were neglected. Additionally, I fear that certain key issues related to environmental sustainability and infrastructure overload were inadequately addressed. There is a pressing need for a revised approach that genuinely incorporates diverse community voices, particularly those that have been overlooked to this point. It is crucial we ensure a fair representation of all stakeholders before proceeding further.
