Incorporating HRAs into the Local Plan protects critical ecosystems and biodiversity. We owe it to future generations to conduct thorough assessments, mitigating harm and fostering sustainable practices.
Incorporating Habitats Regulation Assessments (HRA) into the Local Plan is an essential stride towards protecting our precious ecosystems. European Sites host critical biodiversity and warrant our utmost attention in planning discussions. We owe it to the environment, future generations, and ourselves to undertake these assessments with diligence. By analysing potential impacts before any development occurs, we mitigate harm and foster sustainable practices. This proactive measure aligns with broader conservation goals and showcases a responsible approach to urban planning. I wholeheartedly support this proposal as an opportunity to combine development with ecological integrity.
