The larger villages should serve as the heart of our district, providing necessary services such as libraries and recreation to support both residents and those from outlying areas. Currently, it is quite inconvenient for families and individuals to travel to nearby towns for hospitals and employment, leading to frustration and isolation. The proposed improvements could lead to better accessibility, creating not just a functional environment but also a vibrant one where people are excited to engage with their surroundings. It is time we start prioritising our needs.
